The Luscious Lipstick Case

Dallas, Texas, September 2016. A festival showcasing local films and filmmakers ends in tragedy when somebody murders a director and leaves his body in front of the theater. Less than twenty-four hours after the body is found, the police arrest the actress who had been humiliated by the victim during the festival. The suspect declines Pegasus Investigations’ repeated offers to look into the case at no charge. At the insistence of the agency’s Chief Morale Office, Pegasus investigates the case anyway. Eventually, the detectives end up with more clients than suspects and more questions than answers. A case is a case, and murder should be punished, or should it?
