A millenium has passed since an earthquake and tidal sent the city of Ekonia to the sea floor. Air breathers who wore the collar of life survived the tragedy but before they could be rescued, they disappeared. Archer and Aradia are called to Water to search for the lost ones because Archer's father, King Ichos, wants to recover the purple gemstone trident lost with them.

Archer and Aradia must depend on their paranormal skills to survive the dangers they find on this unusual quest. While they look for clues in the ruins of the destroyed city, they find evidence someone lives there.
