The Long Dirt Road

Abigail Coggins, a young girl growing up in the 1930's, always dreamed of a father and mother who loved her. Father, a self made preacher, controlled Abigail's life with physical, mental and sexual abuse. She could hide the scars on her body but the scars in her heart wouldn't heal. Mother promised that she would protect Abigail from father but she wasn't able to protect herself from his demands. Unknown to Abigail, her life was soon to change. Matthew Price moved into the community and it was love at first sight for both of them. Her dreams of a happy life would soon come true but not without problems around every corner.
