The Lonely Death

After suffering a horrible and unintentional accident at the hands of Horace, Shepard finds himself trapped in a different realm, forced to accept a proposition from the would be deities ruling there. If he succeeds, he may be allowed to return to his friends in Purgatory. If he fails, he may be forced, even if there’s nothing left to return to.

New friendships are formed, and old ones rekindled with people he thought were forever lost, making his decision to return to Purgatory a no win situation. But there’s a malevolent force lurking, trying to tip the scales further out of balance.

Shepard races against time, his friends and the insidious Other Things, with his very soul hanging in the balance.
