The Lock and Key

When we left off in The Guardian, Sydney had just been sent back in time along with her best friend Christian, their mortal friends Michael and Becca, their Caster and for all intents and purposes their protector Maximus, and the once Illuminati now turned evil Rogue Alexandra and a few of her evil lackey's. In The Lock and Key, the second installment of The Guardians of Time series, the story mainly continues to be told from Sydney and Christian's points of view but with a few chapters here and there from Jared and Alexandra's perspectives. We now find that Sydney and her friends are locked in the past with one of the most powerful Rogues ever since Sebastian, and who is hell bent on killing off their entire family line in order to obtain power and take over the world. In this sequel, new secrets now threaten to change everything Sydney and her friends thought they knew about their destinies, all the while trying desperately to find a way back to the present before it's too late!
