When people die, they simply rise again, claiming to be who they were before. They are known as 'The Returned' and there are already many of them. Most of the remaining still living believe them to be the exact same friends and relatives who they cherished before they died, that they were merely resurrected by some strange apocalyptic phenomenon.They were wrong. The Living Must Die follows richly developed characters entrapped within such a world, where some of the living don't mind dying just because they can return. But The Returned are evolving into something far more sinister than merely being undead....
