About This Book
Three tales of creeping dread and the horror lurking in the darkness.
1. The Lifers – A Ghost Story:
There are different rules in the nighttime.
When she first starts her new job, working the night shift in a nocturnal call centre Elizabeth immediately knows something is wrong, a coldness in the atmosphere and her creepy colleagues watch her every move.
A dark secret lies at the heart of this community, a terrible thing happened, and Elizabeth doesn't know if she wants to find out what it is.
2. UrbEx:
I shouldn't be here.
I only broke into the old asylum to take a few photos, Urban Exploration, recording the beautiful hidden worlds inside derelict factories and buildings, the tunnels and secret world inside the city, but I am no longer alone in this forbidden space. There's a man downstairs, carrying a sack with what appears to be a body in it.
I need to escape, but every way I turn leads me closer into his trap.
3. Parking Space:
The scientists dream of multiple universes but in the end there were only two. Ours, fertile and rich, the other dead and grey, a poisonous wasteland. A complete dead loss according to the press and the media, but one bright new start-up discovers a way to attach doorways to the front of houses to add much need parking space to their inner city homes.
It seems a smart purchase, but as he gazes out onto the dead world he has the sense the planet is observing him. It's ridiculous though, the planet is so clearly dead. Barren.
But sometimes he thinks he sees the solid earth bubble and shift. But it can't be true. Can it?
