The Legacy of the Worlds

One thousand years past, a Great War perpetuated by an invincible conqueror of worlds consumed the universe, launching every inhabited planet into a storm of violence and death. After the defeat of the instigator, the war drew to its rapid conclusion and a fragile calm befell the cosmos. Now, after an eon of relative peace, the legendary conqueror has reappeared on a remote, sheltered planet in the outskirts of a minor galaxy.
