The Last Firebird

Roy Martinez, sixteen, is on the first camping trip of his life. A nameless girl with golden wings appears in a forest. She is a Firebird, the last of her kind, and she is being hunted for her blood. A religious sect believes in an ancient legend that said Firebirds have a unique blood type that cures any disease. This sect has been hunting those creatures for centuries. Roy falls for her beauty and innocence, and tries to stay in contact with her. He keeps this secret to himself as he has one mission now, which is to protect the last Firebird on Earth and find the safest place of refuge for her, the Merry Kingdom.
