About This Book

The Lanthorn is the oldest folk group in town, and it has problems. Harry, the bassist, has lost his job and most of his pension. Chris, the guitarist, has borrowed too much and lost it all on the stock exchange. That leaves Dan, the oldest of them, trying to keep the group going even though he is about to be made homeless himself.
Under the surface of the fenland town, criminals wage their turf wars and search for a precious shipment of goods, lost more than twenty years previously. The underworld continues with business as usual, knowing that respectable people will keep their heads down and follow the rules. But not this time: the Lanthorn members decide to fight back.
