The Knife

SILVER MEDAL WINNER IN THE 2018 FLORIDA BOOK AWARDSMarianna Edgewater finds a knife in the furnace room of an abandoned Georgia school building she bought to use as a studio for her interior design business. The knife terrifies her. She hears the voice of a girl murdered on the school grounds over thirty years ago. The voice insists her killer is still at large, but still isn't sure who it was, only that it wasn't the man who was convicted. Marianna begins having accidents as she questions the local people about the long ago murder.When she receives a letter from the convicted killer, "… I want you to know that I did not kill her and that the person who did must still be around . . .," she is determined to learn the truth.The Knife is a 2018 Finalist in the Royal Palm Literary Awards Competition, the annual event sponsored by The Florida Writers Association.
