The King's Daughter

After he finds a dragon's egg and accidentally hatches it, Orson is flung into a quest that he doesn't know he's on to find someone he doesn't know he has to find in order to right a great wrong done by someone who didn't really think about what he was doing – and along the way he finds out he's not who he thinks he is.



King Bartol of Kaikara has negotiated a peace treaty with Kaikara's one-time enemy, Tarfor, part of which involves the marriage of his son, Prince Gareth, to the Tarfori King's daughter. Bartol's daughter, Princess Siriatre, has serious doubts about the treaty – after all, the Tarfori have been trying to conquer Kaikara for nearly two hundred years.

Then she overhears something she shouldn't have.

Will Gareth listen to her before it's too late? Or will he and Kaikara's magical creatures become pawns in a far more complex plot?
