The King of Bostria

When a used car salesman in Peru becomes king of a small European country called Bostria, life is never the same for the new monarch or his country. Some people are betting that King Edward doesn’t even show up to claim the job, and when he’s actually in the palace, he learns that his father was killed by an errant UFO and that the crown he should have is locked up without a key. Later, after failing to find a suitable queen, the king returns to his dusty Peruvian roots in search of true love. A novelette of 10,800 words.
