Pepper Pete's is in big trouble!

It's Oakdale History Month, and everyone wants to help celebrate the event! Even the mysterious Carl Ottinger pitches in by allowing Pepper Pete's Pizza Parlor to display his treasured antique model railroad system. Then, suddenly, the valuable steam engine vanishes! Mr. Ottinger spreads the word about Pepper Pete's lack of security. All the bad publicity could signal the end for Wishbone's favorite pizza parlor!

"What? No more breadsticks or pepperoni?" Wishbone asks. "Somebody has to do something!"

Wishbone, Samantha Kepler, and their friends must crack the case before it's too late for Pepper Pete's. However, they soon learn that the missing steam engine is only one piece in the large puzzle whose key lies in a missing golden dog....
