The Iron Tree

Jarred grew up in the arid desert; a breathtaking place filled with a proud and fierce race of people ho feel the power of the land surge beneath their feet and live in tune with its magic. Raised by his mother alone, Jarred longed to know the history of his father, a journeyman who strayed into the land and found love with a flower of the desert but who left many years ago, promising to return for his wife and infant son. All that was left behind was a broken promise and an amulet for Jarred.

As he comes to manhood Jarred comes to realize that his uniqueness is a thing that has always set him apart. And that his father's legacy could doom those he loves if he stays. And so Jarred will journey into the world to seek his fortune and perhaps along the way to find some news of his father. What he comes to discover is a new world unlike anything that he has ever seen. And brings him to the beautiful Lilith, a woman who will haunt Jarred's dreams and ultimately steal his heart.
