The Heroes of Annwn

Long ages past, the High King of Britain sent the ancient sword Excalibur away with his trusted friend, Belinos, for safe-keeping. But Belinos was lost, and with him Excalibur. The centuries rolled by, and no man knew where the sword might be found. But now Merlin has found the Prydwen, Belinos' ship, and with her a map to the mysterious realm of Annwn, where the evil Morgana reigns and watches him closely for a clue as to where she might find Excalibur. Merlin needs help to find the sword and bring it back to the current High King. And he turns to the youth whose upbringing was Merlin's charge for help, a youth called Arthur . . . The Heroes of Annwn continues the exciting Matter of Britain series, begun with The Hawk and the Wolf, The Hawk and the Cup, and The Hawk and the Huntress.
