The Hanging Tree

After a post office robbery, Detective Superintendent Thane's interest is centered upon the apparently innocent motorcyclist victim, shot by the raiders, for on his corpse is discovered copies of an illegal video cassette of ‘The Hanging Tree', the latest smash-hit movie. It is the break Thane needs to expose a huge counterfeiting operation. In the process he finds several old scores to settle, and meets again an old flame, now a business woman, who is to play a key role in the investigation.
