The Guardian

Charley is a teen with troubles at home. While out walking a distant part of her neighborhood, waiting to face her father's ire for the latest problem she has been accused of, she is suddenly presented with an unexpected job opportunity. She had been hoping to find something that would keep her outside the home, and still provide her with the means to live her own life. Little does she know, that the help wanted sign was placed there just for her, that the job requires one of her seemingly natural talents… recognizing evil when she sees it. Finding herself teamed with a nine-foot gargoyle, a fire breathing dragon, and two assistants that look strangely like vampires, Charley is tasked by her new job with tracking down the evil that never sleeps. She will discover a lot about herself that she never knew before, abilities hidden away within herself that are now emerging. All the members of her new team seem to know more about Charley than she does herself. She's found out that she can find that which hides in the dark, that was the easy part. Then she has to kill it… by any means possible. That part takes a Guardian.
