Every epic tale begins with epic strife. From the outside Vivian Cross appears to be an average twenty-something with a knack for fixing things and a fervent addiction to fresh baked scones. On the inside, every day of her adult life has been a battle of momentous proportions. She struggles with the death of her beloved grandparents, her strange disconnection with her life, and the mysterious death of her parents.
