The Ghost

I am fascinated by the threads that bind together the fabric of the moment. Threads that stream out into the past, woven into a tapestry of euphoria and heartbreak, good and bad decisions, external forces and turns in the road. And what if that tapestry once woven, is complete and knowable across its entire surface? What if time is not linear but complete, a picture, not a process? Pick at any of those stitches, attempt to right a wrong, and who knows what, or how devastating, the consequences may be. The Ghost, inspired by Ian Kershaw's monumental two-volume of biography of Adolf Hitler, brings a broken police officer, who walks the snowbound streets of pre-WW1 Vienna, to one such fray in the infinitely complex fabric of time. A thread that, once pulled free, may bring salvation, or apocalypse.-Terry Grimwood
