Every Sunday when Tom visits his great-grandfather, Samuel Lightfoot, on a Blackfoot reserve, the sparks fly. Tom's non-native mother, unsympathetic to his native heritage, resents the visits, and his father has turned his back on the native way of life.
Struggling to find his own path, Tom is increasingly drawn to his great-grandfather for answers. But before Samuel can help, Tom must find the "ghost bundle" and take part in a "sweat."
