About This Book

Gerda Braun, a frumpy cigarette smoking, beer drinking elderly widow and landlord who lives with her cat "Cleo" in the small fishing/tourist community of Province Town on the Northern tip of Cape Cod. She is fictious as are many of her murder mysteries; although some are fictional accounts of similar cases where the author has taken an abundance of artistic liberties. Her story is based on her home and her coffee klatch friends where they meet regularly. So follow Gerda and her friends through these incidents and their outcomes in Providence Town, New York City and an extended vacation with a new gentleman in her life who takes her to the Carribean, Beliz, across country to San Francisco and on to another cruise through the North West Channel. Many of the named places and events are authentic, including restaurants their menus, hotels and historic descriptions including some cultures of the areas. The author has been playful with tongue in cheek naming her characters. This work has a warm fuzzy, although somewhat sinister, ending.
