The Gates of Heaven

THE PRINCES' QUEST....

Prince Llesho was seven when the Ham invaded his family's mountain kingdom of Thebin. In one devastating attack, these barbarian conquerors stole the lives of his family, his kingdom, and his freedom, selling him into slavery.

But at fifteen, Llesho discovered that his brothers were still alive and had also been sold into slavery. And so began his quest to earn his freedom, and find and rescue his six older brothers so that together they might win back their kingdom.

Now Llesho has found most of them, and gained many allies in the process. Yet he has attracted equally powerful enemies, from the evil sorcerer Markko, to the deadly serpent woman known as Lady Chaitijin, to the Harnish hordes who hold his kingdom in thrall.

Markko has sworn to capture the last of the Thebin princes before Llesho can find them, and if the sorcerer succeeds, Llesho will never by able to save Thebin, or reopen the Gates of Heaven.

As murder and dark magic threaten to destroy the alliances he has forged, Llesho realizes that his only chance lies in beating Markko to the remaining princes. And so he embarks on a desperate hunt that will lead from the slave market to a sea voyage fraught with perils, and an incredible discovery about the sorcerer who seems bent on his destruction....
