The Founding Agrios and Daniella

In a time long long ago, magic was abundant in the world. Of those who could touch the powers there were two schools of thought, the first, magic is like water it is used and recycled, the second magic is like wood, it is burned up and is gone. When the creator shaped he world he created five species who could use power, Whales and dolphins, Frost Giants, Elves, Unicorns and dragons. Each was able to handle two closely linked forms of power. Last, he created man, the shortest lived of all. To compensate, he granted man the ability for a few to wield power to maintain the balance. At the time of our story, The frost giants are gone, the elves nearly so, Unicorns and dragons are hunted for their power and the whale kind for food. none are safe.Agrios finally finds the source of his power, for him it is love. The strong, clear bond the Greeks call agape.Daniella never considered what she does as magic, she is a healer, gifted by the goddess with an understanding herbs and the flows of energy of a healthy individual. The goddess has promised her a husband, but it is not one from her island. She must wait for him to find her.
