The First Day of Christmas

Three years ago Faith McKay was found dead of a drug overdose, with an odd tattoo on her chest. The death was ruled accidental, but Mick Christmas, the detective who worked the case, believed it was murder. Now retired from police work, Mick is content to spend his days tinkering on an old Chevy. But the past won't let him alone. Faith's mother, Carly McKay, a woman he has never forgotten, is being stalked. A local socialite pleads for Mick's help in rescuing her sister from the same cult with which Faith was involved. Further complicating matters, Mick's troubled niece has come to stay with him at his farm. Mick soon finds himself reliving his past as he searches for an unknown killer bent on striking again.
