About This Book

James, a middle aged Irishman, owns and runs a Pub in Boston, when he discovers that his favorite employee, Lidy, was found stealing money from the collection plate at their local church. Being a very god-fearing man, Jimmy is bent on firing her, but Sean, his fellow native Irishman, convinces him to give Lidy a chance to explain herself. Very soon, James finds out that Lidy is suffering from many tragedies, and he is left in the dilemma: should he fire her, or take pity on her?
