Betrayed by the smuggler who was supposed to take her to find Brother Hundfanger, Aurora finds herself in The Brown Expanse, a slave to a Sheikh who wants her for his harem.... Befriended by a Were-rabbit named Tag and a Red Dragon, Aurora must break free from her enslavement and track down all her friends, either sold at auction, languishing in the Mines of Medbu, or fighting in the scattered arenas throughout the desert. As she tracks across the harsh wastelands, she begins to realize that she is far stronger than she ever thought she could be, stronger in fact than most of the deities in the world... Thus begins the third installment of The Aurora Chronicles.
