The magnificent saga of a poet, journeyer, actor, lover, acrobat, riddler and teller of truths who topples feared despots and invincible armies with the quickness of his tongue and the sharpness of his wit. But the price of Aesop's miraculous talents is an unavoidable destiny--and an impending doom that even the divine hands of Apollo and Isis may be powerless to restrain.
