At exactly midnight on December 31, 2012, every electronic device made in China for the last 30 years stops working.
From the U.S. electrical grid and all its back-ups, engine control-management systems, early warning systems on U.S. satellites, every motor vehicle, aircraft and ship made after 1985, to even simple memory chips inside children's teddy bears—every electronic fuse, resistor, or connector that was "Made in China" becomes dormant… forever.
Secret information was kept from the people of the United States. Few knew how many millions of these foreign-made products either the American government or its massive military infrastructure had purchased of these extremely affordable minute electronic parts. The United States of America's many electronic manufacturers and all the First-World countries' manufacturers had never been able to get close to the extremely cheap prices offered by Chinese companies for decades. It was as if Chinese companies were selling these parts below cost, and they were perfectly made, worked effortlessly, and never ever failed! The largest majority of the purchased merchandise was not whole machines, electronic devices, or units but smaller, minor parts, which even though they were tiny in the workings of the mother unit, were nevertheless intricate in making sure that the whole system worked perfectly. Simple impulse-directional chips, electrodes, monitor screens, power switches, fuses, bulbs, verbal and visual components, electronic on/off-switches, emergency override switches, communication chips, information-saving boards, and most important emergency burn-out protectors stopped operating and performing their micro-important chores.
All the world's military forces have problems. Engine control systems on tanks, automatic guidance systems on rockets, modern computerized guns, and all the control systems on board every modern warplane worldwide turn these sophisticated killers into useless scrap metal.
The shutdown of the United States of America, and 97% of the entire world, is accomplished by 12:30 am U.S. Eastern time on the first day of the New Year in 2013.
It takes only 30 minutes to completely dismantle the whole of modern Western civilization as we know it.
