The DragonStaff

There would be no dragon war, if only there were no dragons. For Jacob's entire life, the humans have been at war with the dragons. The dragons must be stopped, and there is only one thing that can do it: the DragonStaff. The legendary weapon has the power to control the dragons, ultimately defeating them for good. Though everyone said the DragonStaff was a myth, Jacob and his brother believe otherwise; and they need to find it. But when a voice begins to speak in his head, and Jacob is separated from his brother, the things that used to make sense become unclear. Why is the group of dragons that kidnapped him so friendly? Why is the insane panther in the forest so secretive, annoying, and weird, yet saves his life at every turn? And why is the most wanted criminal of all time--the king's nemesis--so...not evil? But more importantly, who are the Fighters of Peace, and what do they want with him? Jacob was sent to unravel the mysteries of others, but he soon finds himself trying to unravel the mysteries of himself.
