Forced to Grow Up In the island kingdom of Mineria, intelligent energy beings called Guardians give members of the royal family supernatural abilities like speed, stamina, and strength. But the nation is shocked when thirteen-year-old Dale, a prince weakened by childhood disease, is picked to succeed the aging king over his older half-brother Erik. In anger, Erik turns to the primitive cousins of the Guardians, the Feral Spirits. The aggressive nation of Capagia, an ancient enemy, decides the time is ripe to test the newly-crowned boy king and sends a vast armada to conquer Mineria.
