Strange sinister dreams haunt the Wizard Cabe Bedlam and lead him to the desolate peninsula of Legar. Here an inquisitive band of wolf raiders has accidently discovered the resting place-and the sorcerous weapons-of an ancient, unhuman race, the Quel. The wolves plan to use the stolen magic for terror and conquest...until they inadvertently unleash the monstrous Quel from their dark, eons-long sleep.
