An intrepid group of young survivors continue to forge their way to a safe HayVen that may or may not exist. Meanwhile, dormant volcanoes awaken and explode, pouring fire streams across the planet's surface. From the inferno arise the ultimate agents of death and destruction, paving the way for their leader. Animals of all kinds lurk in the darkness. Grim alliances form.
