Bill Langston has an uncanny ability to figure out who's telling the truth and who's lying. Truth affects him visually, as if he's looking through thick, wavy glass. Over the years as a private investigator, Bill honed a talent for bringing truth into focus. He's even better at spotting liars. Deceit makes Bill see red, not just figuratively speaking. He catches subtle shifts in visible light when someone lies. Blue and yellow wavelengths fade, and reds grow stronger.
