Surviving a violent home invasion by a neighborhood gang that killed his father and his mother, Trevor Lincoln spent long months in a hospital recovering from gunshot wound that almost took his life. During his lengthy hospitalization, Trevor became addicted to pain killers that helped him retreat from the reality of suffering and pain.Adopted by his aunt and uncle, Trevor found succor in their loving home - at least for a while.
