The Clockwork Heart

On the battlefields of France at the height of the Second World War, sÅ"ur Salomé struggles to save the American soldiers who have come to fight for her homeland. The German forces press ever closer, though, and Salomé can help only a very few of the men who need her.

When David Webber crosses her path, Salomé finds herself drawn towards the handsome, young soldier in spite of her vows. David Webber, she realizes, may hold the key to winning the war. And, too, the key to her heart.

But David Webber is hunted by something just as dangerous as he, and after David is injured, it falls to Salomé to ensure that he survives.
