The City of Night Neverending

Welcome to Thunder Realm, where cowboy-knights known as paladeros ride dinosaurs, and take up arms during war. Joss, a young orphan, has always wanted to be a paladero – and now he finally has that chance. 

In The Riders of Thunder Realm, Joss faced off against witches, bloodthirsty monsters and even his own Bladebound brethren to prove himself worthy of becoming a Paladero. Now, in The City of Night Neverending, Joss and his brethren are ready to begin their first stage of training. But before they can embark, their town is attacked by vicious pyrates who abduct half the villagers, including Joss's best friend Edgar … and then vanish into thin air. 

Joss has no choice but to forge alliances with merchant captains, merfolk and ancient creatures from the deep in an effort to rescue his fellow prentice – all while risking the Paladero training he's worked so hard for. Yet little does Joss know that this rescue mission will set him on a crash course with his own tragic past, and a mysterious figure he's long-thought dead ...
