The Chronicles of Athena

My name is Athena. I am the Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom. Following a deadly war with the Legion of Vampires led by Vrykolakas, the Blood God, every Pagan deity from Greece to the Yoruba Empire, from Egypt to Scandinavia fled to the Etherworld. Man forgot about us. Zeus, Lord of Olympus, recently cast me out due to his wife Hera's machinations and I found myself alone in the modern world. I quickly adapted and became a policewoman in Ontario, Canada. I fell in love with Ethiopian-Canadian Muslim policeman Idris Tadesse, and life was finally good to me. Now the Blood God is loose and threatens the mortal world. I must fight to protect the people I love, while having only half of my Divine powers. Oh, and while on planet Earth, us Gods can definitely die. Wish me luck, for I shall definitely need it.
