Two young adults face enormous amounts of pain and torture in their every day lives, making staying okay difficult. They both have different ways of dealing with their rage and pain - one with violence and abuse, the other with understanding and forgiveness. The strength to return anger with kindness and hurt with forgiveness is hard to come by unless you know where to find it. Olivia Patton seeks to share her Christianity with the enraged Chase Barton while at the same time struggling with her own affliction. When a stalker and a suspicious private investigator enter the picture, Olivia's courage is strained, and she has a difficult time determining whether dealing with Chase is better or worse for her health.
