The Chase

Two decades earlier, when Becca was a young girl, her mother disappeared from her life for unknown reasons. Now, a mysterious phone call and a note left from RaeLynn opens up old wounds and plunges Becca and her family into the unknown - her mother is in danger and needs help. Instinct tells Becca to leave well enough alone, but family bond, however shaky, draws her closer, like a moth to the flame. The plea for help sends them away from the Keys to north Florida where Becca's world feels like it is going to explode. As the situation continues to grow more dangerous, others also find their lives in jeopardy, and they quickly discover that there are people who do not want Becca's mother to resurface. One twist after another leaves Becca questioning everything she thought was true. Every time she thinks she's figured out a piece of the puzzle, she discovers another is missing. Can they untangle the mess of lies and deceit before it is too late? Is there any possible hope for Becca to again have a relationship with her mother?
