The Case of the Mascot's Missing Fire

Out of necessity, Beans and her mother Paulie are forced to return to Steubenville, Ohio, the town where they lived before Mill Creek, New Jersey. Because Paulie's orange Volvo has been riddled with repairs, family friend Zapper has urged her to drive back for a durable yet bargain replacement for her taxi business. While there, Beans attends the homecoming game where she reconnects with her middle school buddies. But a crazy, unexpected thing happens there! When the home team scores a touchdown, Big Red, the prized mascot, does not snort out his fiery flames in celebration. Compelled to help the community and her friends, Beans immediately recruits her old pal Jimmy Williams to solve the mystery but finds herself drowning in a sea of murals.
