The Case of the Frightened Rock Star

Jody was organizing a rock concert to raise money to rebuild the burned-down school stadium. She had invited Michael Harper, a rock star and a recent graduate of her high school, to perform. But nothing went right with Jody's plans! Someone spilled red paint all over her expensive posters. Michael arrived and started to act in a very strange manner. A series of crazy practical jokes played on Jody and her brother, Jake, began to threaten the concert plans. Who was conspiring against Jody and Jake? Was it Michael, the nervous rock star? Could it be Bud, his smooth-tongued manager? Who was the mysterious, invisible joker? And why would anyone want to m ess up the concert?
