The Case of the Fragmented Woman

When the bodiless head of volumptuous soap opera siren Hermoine Leanders is broadcast live on a local game show, bored housewives all over San Francisco get quite a jolt. Especially Mary Sable, who then finds Hermoine's foot set prettily in aspic in her best friend's refrigerator. As parts of Hermoine appears around town, Mary tries to find the killer and save her friend from a murder charge. But juggling three children, unwanted houseguests and a sexy cop isn't easy, especially when her own off-the-wall investigation leads her to a millionaire's kinky basement...and into more trouble than even a bored housewife even needed.
