ANTHONY CELANO is a former detective and detective squad commander who served 22 years in the NYPD. His assignments included the Queens District Attorney's Office Squad, the Colombo Organized Crime Task Force, the Organized Crime Control Bureau, the DEA Joint Task Force and several detective squads in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The author also served as a special investigator for the Office of the Special State Prosecutor-Nursing Home Investigation. Mr. Celano was the Co- Founder/ Owner/CEO of Full Security Incorporated, a Midtown Manhattan based investigative firm, for seventeen years. After his retirement from FSI, Mr. Celano began writing a series of Sergeant Markie Mystery novels. He is currently working on The Case of the Missing Sole, his eighth offering in the series.
