The Cake Man

The Queen was soon to celebrate her birthday with a special party. Inside the castle, the King had suggested that there should be a competition to see who could bake the very best birthday cake. Every day, new cakes were sent up to the Queen from the kitchen. But the Queen was very grumpy. In fact, she said she did not like any of the cakes at all! The King became very worried indeed. "Look for a new cook, far and wide. The Queen is not happy," the King cried. Just in time, a rather strange new cook arrived at the castle gates. On his back, he carried a huge stack of delicious and most unusual cakes. But these were no ordinary cakes. Something very unexpected and magical was about to happen in the castle and things would never, ever be quite the same again!
