The Bird Cages

What happens if the world does not end like it's supposed to? What if it keeps happening . . . over and over and over? Facing a bleak, unrelenting world, a small group of survivors take refuge in a hotel, eeking out an existence, struggling to survive. Afraid to go outside, the group of people erect cages on the roof of the hotel to stand watch, prepare, and be the eyes of the people inside. Supplies are limited. Morale is low. Hope is at a standstill. And the danger that lies just outside their walls may have found a way in.
