Beau Brumsfeld thought he would always be an apple farmer living in the Dale, a small village lying peacefully in the outskirts of the Land.
But that all changes when one of the mysterious Old Ones appears to tell him that someone wants to see him, someone who will tell him that the old legends are true, and that an ancient evil has woken and means to destroy the force that has allowed prosperity and peace to rule for ages--the force known as the Bell of Caledon.
Soon, without fully knowing why, Beau begins a journey to the far reaches of the Land, discovering friendship, terror, romance, and his own strength.
