The Beast of Caboro Bay

At the age of eight Charley Ispaymilt of the Lekwungen first nation meets a mythical sea creature named Robert who appears in the waters off Cadboro Bay near Victoria, British Columbia. Charley is startled to discover the creature speaks his tribes language. A friendship ensues as Robert begins to reveal to the boy the story of his people. As the decades pass and Charley grows to manhood he is unaware of the influence this mythic creature has on his life and those of his people. A story of discovery, family, and how one person can make a difference.
