The Barton Mystery

Having been found guilty of the murder of Gerald Barton, Harry Maitland faces the gallows. It had been proved that Maitland had gone to Barton's flat at about the time at which Barton had met his death. The revolver used in the shooting had been found at the scene, and the vendor had recognised Maitland as the purchaser.
