The Ancient Amulet

Professor Victor Zorn, learning of an ancient cult brought to America a century ago, and now existing in a remote area, has made arrangements with the Newcomb family to visit and dig on their estate for a few weeks during summer break. Jane Connell, a teacher at the same college, applies for the assistant position, and finds herself involved in the professor's wicked plan to revive the cult. Jane finds the amulet, the rare gemstone gemologists call paparadschah, and the documents describing the cult's rituals and sexual orgies. Though Jane is afraid of the rituals, she is drawn into them through the professor's nefarious power. After being held captive and forced to undergo participation in the rituals, will Jane be able to exert her knowledge of how to rob the gem of its power and avert the professor's nefarious plans? Will she reduce the amulet to a rare and valuable gemstone once again?
